Beyond the wheelchair itself, many users travel with a range of additional equipment: cushions, communication devices, ventilators, catheter supplies, spare clothing, and more. The accessible vehicle that lacks considered storage solutions forces its owner into improvised arrangements — bags balanced on laps, items wedged behind seats, equipment that shifts during braking.

Some vehicle converters offer bespoke storage solutions as part of their adaptation packages, including under-seat drawers, overhead nets, and purpose-built compartments integrated into the conversion.
